Dr. YU was named Assistant of Dean of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Zhejiang University in January 2018.  He is also the director of the Department of Pharmacy. He also is the deputy director of the institute of Drug Metabolism and Pharmaceutical Analysis, and is the director the laboratory of Drug Metabolism and Pharmaceutical Analysis. He studied pharmaceutical analysis and drug metabolism and received his Ph. D. from Zhejiang University in 2005. He went to University of Pittsburgh for his research visiting scholar from 2011 to 2012. He is a member and the secretary general of the Analytical Pharmacology Specialized Committee of Chinese Pharmacology Society, and a member of the Pharmaceutical Analysis Specialized Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, and the vice chairman of the Youth Pharmaceutical Analysis Specialized Committee of China. He is the executive director of China Pharmaceutical Instrument Society. He is the vice secretary general of China Pharmaceutical Analysis Council. He is the vice chairman of the Youth Drug Metabolism Specialized Committee of China. He is a vice chairman of the Pharmaceutical Analysis Specialized Committee of Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Association.
