From June9 to June14, A delegation from Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy,University of Hawaii at Hilo was invited to visit our college. The delegates were included Prof. Rose Tseng, Chancellor Emeritaof UH-Hilo, Prof. John Pezzuto, the Dean of UH Hilo-DKICP, Prof. Edward Fisher, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Prof. Carolyn Ma,Department Co-Chair of Pharmacy Practice, Ms. Mimi Pezzuto, Instructor of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

During the visit, the delegates were showed our labs and discussed undergraduates program with our faculties and staffs. Prof. John Pezzuto, the Dean of UH Hilo-DKICP gave the lecture about his recent research and answered related questions which our students are interested. The delegates were also invited to Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University to discuss the possibility of developing cooperative PharmD program and attend a clinical pharmacist seminar held by Pharmaceutical Association of Zhejiang Province.

Since the cooperation agreement signed in 2009, there is close contacts between both sides. This summer, the first group of five students is going to Hawaii for exchange study.
