College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University and Gifu Pharmaceutical University have developed close exchanges and cooperation in various fields of education and research. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the cooperation and the two sides have carried out a series of commemorative activities such as exchange of visits between students and faculty, academic and cultural exchanges, and have renewed the framework agreement on all-around cooperation for a new period.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the cooperation between CPS-ZJU and Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Gifu Pharmaceutical University professors Eimichi Hinoi, Tetsuro Kasuzuka and Naoki Matsumaru visited the college in September 2024 with a team of five PhD students.  In November, the Vice Dean of CPS-ZJU, Xiangnan Zhang led a team of five doctoral students to visit Gifu Pharmaceutical University.

Both sides carried out academic exchange activities. 

Students from both sides made presentations and exchanges on the progress of research in their respective fields.
