Length of schooling: 5 years

Disciplines: Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmceutical Analysis, Microbiology and Biochemical Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Chinese Materia Medica and Engineering Science 

Requirements for graduation and degree conferring:

1. Finish the required courses and earn the minimum credits required by this specialty.

2. Finish all the examinations required by the graduate program and meet relevant requirements.

3.Pass the degree thesis defense.

4. Publish enough qualified academic papers in accordant with regulations set forth by the pharmaceutical discipline, however, requirements concerning this aspect may vary from discipline to discipline, and some of them might have a higher standards then others. 

Course requirement:

The students are required to finish at least 30 credits in total, including 7 credits from common degree course, 2 from academic frontier course, 2 or more from research methodology course, 8 or more from professional degree course (among which the doctoral course takes up at least 2 credits), 6 from professional elective course (among which the doctoral course takes up at least 2 credits) and other credits from at least one course concerning public quality, among which the professional degree course supercedes the professional elective course, the professional elective course supercedes the general elective course and the doctoral course could replace the master one.
