Tingjun Hou is currently a full professor for College of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. His group focuses on the development of algorithms, methods and tools for computer-aided drug design (CADD) and structural bioinformatics. He holds a BSc. in Chemistry from Peking University (1997) and Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Peking University (2002). He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research Scientist, in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University (2002~2004) and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCSD (2004~2009). In 2009, Tingjun joined Soochow University as a full professor, and in 2013, he moved to Zhejiang University. He has co-authored more than 190 peer reviewed manuscripts, 4 book chapters and 1 multimedia courseware. He is a member of Editorial Board for the journals: Journal of Cheminformatics、Current Pharmaceutical Design, Chemical Biology & Drug Design、Theoretical Biology & Medical Modelling, Computational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine、Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics、Journal of Pharmaceutics, Mini-reviews in Medicinal Chemistry, Current Computer-aided Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry.
