Dr. Yiyu Chengcurrently is professor & director of Pharmaceutical Informatics Institute, Zhejiang University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Zhejiang University in 1999, and was a visiting scientist in several European universities and NCTR/FDA. He and his group are deeply involved in developing cheminformatics methods, including pattern recognition techniques for quality control and risk assessment of medicine.
Dr. Cheng has published >200 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. He is reviewer and member of the editorial board for various scientific journals. Amongst others he is the Member of the Pharmacopoeia Commission of P. R. China and an appointed expert of the Chinese SFDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE).
