Delegation from the Catholic University of Korea visited CPS

On November 30th,a delegation from the Catholic University of Korea paid a visit to College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) at Zhejiang University, constituted by Prof. Jeong Hwan Cho, the Dean of school of pharmacy at Catholic University of Korea, Prof. Joo Young Lee, the Department Head, Prof. Yong Yeon Cho, the Institute Director, Prof. Mi-Kyoung Kwak and Miss Ji Yeon Lee from the office of international affairs. The Dean of CPS, Prof. Bo Yang and Prof. Jianqing Gao, Vice Dean of CPS, Prof. Xiaohui Fan, Vice Dean of CPS, Prof. Xuesong Liu, the Assistant to Dean of CPS, and Prof. Daishun Ling met and discussed with the delegation.

 

 

Prof. Yang welcomed the delegation led by Prof. Cho, and hoped both sides can establish a long-term partnership. Prof Fan and Miss Lee introduced both institutions respectively. After that, both sides exchanged ideas with each other on the international student exchange program, research collaboration and decided to hold the meeting on an annual basis.

 

During the visit, the delegation visited several labs of CPS, including the GLP lab. Prof. Joo Young Lee .Prof. Mi-Kyoung Kwak and Prof. Yong Yeon Cho give presentations to our students and teachers of CPS, respectively.

 

The Catholic University of Korea established in 1855 is the first western style institution for higher education of Korea. The medical and pharmacy schools are one of the top institutes in Korea with an excellent reputation .This meeting fostered the international collaborations between CPS and Korean colleges.
