Pharmaceutical analysis

Discipline of Pharmaceutical Analysis began to recruit Master students and Doctoral candidates in 1982 and 2000, respectively. We have the national key disciplines (training), the key disciplines of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Province key disciplines of Chinese medicine, and State Traditional Medicine Research Class III Level Lab (the highest grade) and Key Traditional Chinese Medicine Lab of Zhejiang Province.

There are 14 faculty members in Discipline of Pharmaceutical Analysis, including 8 professors and 6 associate professors. We have published more than 300 academic papers and training 92 graduate students, 28 doctoral students, 7 postdoctoral researchers in recent years.

Research fields: drug analysis and drug metabolism; pharmaceutical analysis in complex samples; process analytical technology; spectral analysis of drug 

Pharmacology

 Discipline of Pharmacology, Zhejiang University, consists of the departments concerning pharmacological research in School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and School of Medicine of the university. The discipline was authorized for master—degree programs of pharmacology in 1981 and for doctor—degree programs of pharmacology in 2000, and became the key discipline of Zhejiang Province in 2002.

There are 23 faculty members in Discipline of Pharmaceutical Analysis, including 12 professors and 11 associate professors. Among all the staff, one was Chinese National Distinguished Young Scientists, one was certified as “Qiu—shi Distinguished Professor” , three personnel are New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education, seven personnel are included in "151 Talents Project" by Zhejiang Provincial Government.

Research fields: Neuropharmacology, Cancer Pharmacology, Cerebral and Cardio vascular Pharmacology, Respiration Pharmacology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology, Drugs Toxicology.
