The granduate won the prize in the Seventh Oncology Conference

The Seventh Oncology Conference & 11th Cross-Strait tumor conferences was held in the capital city of Beijing from september 6th to 9th, which was sponsored by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and the Oncology Branch of Chinese Medical Association . The students from the Dr.BoYang and Dr qiaojun he’s group in Tumor Endocrine Pharmacology Insititute of our college took part in the conference and get the award.
The Oncology Conference is one of top academia forums in the field of Oncology in China, it represent the the latest development and the latest progress of oncology in china.
It had been successfully held In Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Shanghai and other places since 2000, attracting a large number of experts and scholars at home and abroad to participate.
The subject of the Seventh Oncology Conference was “forcusing tumor translational medicine, promoting the development of the Health Sciences”. The meeting with 36 branch field invited medical academicians,renowned oncology experts and elite at home and abroad to do academic report. President of the international Union Against Cancer, experts of the famous international cancer research agency and the senior officials also were invited to attend the meeting.
The PhD candidate Xiaowen Liu and Guanyu Lin from the The Institute of Pharmacology & Toxicology and Biochemical Pharmaceutics of our college gave oral presentations entitled " The anti-tumor effect and mechanism of hypoxia-selective topoisomerase II inhibitors Q6" and " The effect and mechanism of reversing hypoxic EMT by PI3K/mTOR dual inhibitor NVP-BEZ235” respectively in the Forum of Young Scholars in the branch meeting of anticancer drug professional comimitte which was held in September 8th. Lin Guanyu won the the third prize of youth excellent papers in the Academic Conference by the review of the expert in the conference.
