Prof. Zeng Research Group Attended the 3rd CPSA Conference

The third chemical & pharmaceutical structure analysis conference in Shanghai China (CPSA Shanghai 2012) was held on 25-27 April 2012 in shanghai pudong renaissance hotel. CPSA is an international academic conference on drug development and analysis. It has more than 13 years of history in the United States, and enjoys a high reputation in overseas. CPSA Shanghai 2012 is an international conference, which reflects the current trend of the development of the pharmaceutical industry, and has become the industry benchmark. The theme of conference is “From Bench to Decision Making - From Basics to Application.” More than 300 executives, experts, scholars and students from the internationally renowned pharmaceutical companies, large multinational pharmaceutical companies, CRO China, institute of Biomedicine and universities attended the meeting. Dr. Leslie Benet from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Dr. Thomas Baillie from University of Washington were invited to do a special report, respectively. The meeting involved widely, including Understanding Regulatory Requirements of DDI, Emerging Drug Discovery DMPKT Platform in China, Transporters, Metabolites, Biotransformation, Regulated Bioanalysis/Bioanalytical Technologies, Pharmaceutical Sciences/Analytical Science, Analytical Methodology & Technology, Biomarkers, Biologics, Translational Sciences, Technology & Strategy, etc. Professor Su Zeng gave a lecture of “Screening and Assessing Metabolic Drug-Drug Interactions in Vitro” in the meeting of DMPK Workshop. Students -- Changchuan Guo, Li Li, Cong Xu, Yan Jiang, Chen Su, Yanqing Dai attended the meeting, and actively participated in the poster sessions. After the evaluation and interview of General Assembly Young Scientist Excellence Awards Committee, Cong Xu won the third prize of young scientists and Yan Jiang won the excellence award.
