On April 16, all the teachers and students of Institute of Modern Chinese Medicine traveled to Yangzhou for relaxing and communication.

In Yangzhou, we visited two famous feature spots: HeYuan and Slender West Lake. HeYuan is formerly known as "Ji Xiao village". We treasured the opportunity to appreciate its elegant demeanour. The most famous in HeYuan are the "water heart pavilion"、"complex gallery"、"hollow window"、"piece of rock hill housing”. The water heart pavilion is well-designed and because of the echo between water and ring park corridor, acoustic resonance effect in the pavilion is enhanced, which make it the best place for watching opera and dance, and cooling summer action.The beautiful view, poems, natural drawings, and moving stories of Slender West Lake impressed us deeply. It is believed to be the best place to relaxing for both the local people and the traveler.

This journey gave us an opportunity to understand each other and build a platform for communication between students and teachers in a psychologically relaxing mood. It also reduced the gap among people in different labs of IMCM.
