Invited by College of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo (UHH), Prof. Dr. Joachim Joachim Stöckigt, Dr. Lianli Sun and Doctoral Candidate Liuqing Yang visited UHH during May 3^rd-May 9^th 2010.

      Prof. Joachim Stöckigt’s group held a workshop on protein crystallization at UHH. The group was warmly welcomed by the faculty members and students at UHH. They showed a great interest in the workshop. The result of the experiment was successful. This workshop greatly promoted the communication between the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University（ZUCPS）and UHH.

      They were also met by the chancellor Rose Tseng, the director global exchange Todd Shumway, and the dean of the College of Pharmacy John Pezzuto at UHH. Both sides showed great interest in collaboration, for example, student exchange and joint research projects. The director Todd Shumway will visit ZUCPS in June and discuss the details.
