      On Apr. 12th to 15th, Dean of Graduate School Students’ Affaires Mr. Lv Miaohua, Vice-Secretary of Faculty of Medicine Zhejiang University Mrs. Zhang Xiaoling, and Mrs. Li Qiong from School of Graduate Studies, Mrs. Xu Lingxiao, Mr. Chen Yinxin, Mrs. Wang Jianmin from Faculty of Medicine Zhejiang University and 14 Master and PhD candidates who won “Terumo International Exchange Scholarship” visited some renown Japanese universities, namely Kyoto University Hospital, Osaka University Medical Center, Komamoto University College of Life Science and Kyushu University School of Medicine. Shen Li and Xie Meng, doctoral students from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, participated in the exchange activities. Shen Li was the leader of the students’ delegation. Each medical center made attentive and satisfactory arrangements for our visit, showed us their most advanced research facilities and key disciplines.
      On Apr. 12th, Prof. Takashi Nakamura, President of Kyoto University Hospital, and his party warmly greeted our delegation. We visited the Day Surgery Unit, Center of Medical Radiology, and the brand-new Cancer Center.

       On Apr. 13th, we arrived in Osaka university, Prof. Shoichi Shimada, Director of International Affairs, Osaka University School of Medicine, Mrs. Sachiko baba and some physicians and Staff greeted us. Delegation visited Public Health Research Center, Translational Medical Center and Emergency Air Medical Center.

      On Apr. 13th, we came to Kumamato university, Prof. Shinji Harada, president of College of Life Science Kumamoto University, Prof. Motohiro Takeya, vice president of Medical Department, Prof. Yasuharu Nishimura, director of Medical Education Center, and other staff members welcomed us. We visited the Main Building, Central Medical Research Center, School Library and exchanged ideas with professors and students by displaying posters.

      During the poster exchange session, we displayed a poster including introduction of Zhejiang University Faculty of Medicine, National Key Discipline and Laboratories and recent academic achievements. We had three posters namely introduction Zhejiang University Faculty of Medicine and College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, national key disciplines including: Oncology, Infectious Disease, and Pediatrics. Through this poster session, we not only deepen our professional knowledge, but also modern medical education in Japan. During this poster session, teachers and students from the two universities, discuss the poster content and academic research.

       On Apr. 15th , we came to the last university in our journey, Kyushu University, Prof. Ryoichi Takayanagi, president of School of Medicine, Kyushu University, and some other professors greeted us. Under the guidance of Prof. Makoto Hashizume, chairman of Medical Department, we visited Kyushu University Training Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. Then delegation  visited Kyushu University School Library, even saw some library collections from ⅩⅥ Century.

      In this exchange activities, Shen Li and Xie Meng completed the task excellently, and  demonstrated good spirit, good professional basis , adept communication skills, won a good reputation of our university and college.
