The Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Drug Metabolism of Zhejiang University began to enroll postgraduate students in 1982. Approved by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council, the center started to offer master programs in 1984 and Ph.D programs in 2000. At present, the department is one of the major parts of Zhejiang Provincial Key Discipline Pharmaceutical Analysis, Key Laboratory of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Analysis on TCM, Key Laboratory of TCM Science and Key Laboratory of Pharmacology on TCM.
