The adult high education of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Zhejiang University began from 1984. It has been experienced reformation and development for more than 20 years. Now the education scale is placed at the eighth in Zhejiang University. There are over 701 students, among them 340 junior students and 361 students who rise to undergraduates. Relying on the solid comprehensive advantage of foundation subjects, good academic atmosphere, the teaching and research strength of college-self, first-class teaching facilities, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers the best study environment for each medicinal student while doing well in full-time undergraduate education and postgraduate education. Adult high education of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences wins the good reputation in the society. Every year 50% students who study to rise to undergraduates acquire the B.A degree, and 1/3 graduate students continue the further study of postgraduate student course, some have obtained the master degree or go abroad the advanced study at the same time students have gained the diploma. 

The teaching features of our college are pursuing study precisely, firm foundation, wide, expert, intersectant combination, strong creative ability. Insists to regard students as basis, according to characteristics that teaching adult students, set up the teaching mode, work hard to make adult students complete the education favorably while they make good work in department. Currently, the college has 16 professors, 25 associate professors, 14 doctor-tutors, 6 part-time doctor-tutors and 25 master-tutors; especially, one academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 3 persons who enjoy special subsidy in government of State Department, “Yangtze River scholar reward plan” with hiring the professor’s one person, one person of fund gainers of national outstanding youth, one person of hundreds of national talented person’s engineering, and some persons who are the leaders of middle and youth subjects in Zhejiang high colleges and the  point supports of Zhejiang 151 talented person engineering etc. The college also appointed 4 well-known scholars in abroad as the Guangbiao academic chair professor and hired professor, and appointed to include 14 academicians with Chinese pharmacy meeting chairman of the board waits more than 30 famous professors as the part-time professors in the college. The incumbent director is an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Lee Lianda professor.

   College of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Zhejiang University is the training organization of Zhejiang certified apothecary, undertaking the mission of before certified apothecary testing training and continue education, training more than 1000 students annually.
