On the afternoon of January 31, Chen Chaw Min, Secretary-General of Ministry of Health from Malaysia, paid a visit to Hangzhou Institute of Innovative Medicine, Zhejiang University, located in Xiasha, Economic Development Zone,Hangzhou. YANG Bo, Dean of Hangzhou Institute of Innovative Medicine, YAO Chenpeng and HE Qiaojun, Vice Deans, gave a warmly welcome to the delegation.

LIN Dai shun, Assistant to the Dean, ZHANG Haitao, DO Xiaowu and GAN Lishe showed the delegation the five affiliated centers, laboratories and equipment. The two sides also had a talk about the recent research and development in pharmaceutical study. During the talk, YAO Chenpeng gave a detailed introduction about the future development of pharmaceutical industry in Xiasha. The two sides also carried out an in-depth discussion in regard to the potential cooperation and hoped to make contributions to both countries under the support of China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”.
