Located in the earthly paradise of Hangzhou and determined to seek the truth and practice the benevolence of the universe, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University, over the past century, has survived the change of times, nurtured a great number of pharmaceutical talents and written its own glory. As one of the earliest modern and higher pharmaceutical education systems of China, it grew out of the Pharmaceutical Department of Zhejiang Public Medical College and the National Zhejiang University, which was founded in 1913 and 1944 respectively. Under the guidance of its college motto to “Enlighten Inborn Goodness and Preach Effective Medicine” and aiming to “Develop a First-class Pharmacy for Human Health”, it has achieved remarkable great-leap-forward development and edged itself into globally acknowledged pharmaceutical colleges by keeping true to its original aspiration, gathering talents, pursuing wisdom and seeking the truth, integrating resources and innovating concepts along the way.
