Zhejiang University established the China-Indonesia Joint Lab on Biotechnology in collaboration with its Indonesian partner in 2017. This partnership leverages ZJU'sresearch capabilities and interdisciplinary strengths, along with Indonesia's rich biological resources. The laboratory has made significant strides in developing advanced biotechnology and integrated research platforms. lt has also fostered the development of biomedicaland health products including standard-setting for Dragon Blood and industrialization of Curcumin. These achievements exemplify the potential for long-term cooperation in biotechnology between the two nations, bringing mutual benefits to their people.
