The 2nd Ping-Pong and Badminton Competition Successfully Held in CPS-ZJU

On Dec. 15th, The 2nd Ping-Pong and Badminton Competition was successfully heldin the Zijingang gymnasium. The event was hosted by the College Union, the College Ping-Pong Association and the Graduate Committee, supported by the Public Sports Department, ZJU.

 

Teachers and students of CPS-ZJU actively participated in the competition. At 8:30 in the morning, participating teams gathered on the second floor of gymnasium and began to warm up. At 9 o'clock, after a brief opening ceremony, Prof. Yang Bo announced that the game officially began.

 

In this competition, 9 teams including Administrative Office and Experiment Teaching Center,Institute of Drug Discovery & Design, Institute of Drug Metabolism and Analysis, Institute of Modern Chinese Medicine, Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Institute of Pharmaceutical Informatics, Institute of Pharmaceutics, Center for Drug Safety Evaluation and ResearchGLP, and undergraduate students. During the competition, the teachers and students encouraged each other, coordinated and worked hard, and fully demonstrated the energy and spirits of the pharmacy teachers and students. The process of the game was thrilling with non-stop cheers and applause.

 

The whole match was successfully concluded in the climax of the badminton team finals. In the badminton competition, Institute of Drug Metabolism and Analysis won the first-place award, Institute of Pharmaceutics won the second-place, Institute of Drug Discovery & Design won the third-place and Institute of Pharmaceutical Informatics won the forth-place. In the Ping-Pong competition, Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology won the first-place award, Institute of Pharmaceutical Informatics won the second-place, Institute of Drug Discovery & Design won the third-place. After the game, many teachers and students were still eager to continue to combat, and said that they should actively participate in such activities in the future.
