Program of The Final-Year Project & Internship in The University of South Carolina” is a international cooperative program carried by CPS-ZJU and School of Pharmacy The University of South Carolina(SOP-USC), which is funded by the National Study Abroad fund Committee (CSC). Since 2010, 14 students in total attended in the program. In 2018, three outstanding undergraduates, Xu Jiahui, Xiao Ziyu and Lin Ciai, went to USC for a six-month graduation project and internship program on November 30 after a long-time application, selection and interview. The aim of the project is to expand students' international vision, improve students' scientific research ability, and train students to become internationally competitive pharmaceutical talents. Now, Dr. Jun Zhu, supervisior from USC, is invited to visit CPS-ZJU in mid-December 2018, and he will give an introducation on this program during his visit. Students who attended this program in 2017 are also invited to share their study experience in USC.

The relevant information is hereby notified as follows:

Time:

December 15, 2018: Registration Deadline

December 17 to 21, 2018: Supervisor’ Introduction

Early April, 2019: Interview (in English and Chinese)

November, 2019: Program Start (6 months is required).

Requirements for Application:

1. Junior students of CPS-ZJU

2. Language proficiency in English, GRE, TOEFL or IELTS is preferred;

3. Have some experience and background in participating in scientific research;

4. Have a goal in applying to American Universities such as USC for further study is preferred.
